Comprehensive, Compassionate Hospice Care
Legacy Hospice provides a full range of hospice services to support patients and their families with expert medical care, emotional guidance, and practical support.

What is Hospice Care?
Hospice care is a form of specialized, compassionate care for individuals nearing the end of life. It's focused not on curative treatment, but on managing a patient's symptoms while supporting their comfort and quality of life. And it provides support for family caregivers, too.
When a physician determines that a person has six months or less to live, hospice care is often recommended. Engaging hospice care is a choice to focus on what matters: relief from pain and symptoms, emotional and spiritual support, and expert guidance for the whole family.

Hospice is not giving up. It is choosing to live as fully and comfortably as possible.

Legacy Hospice Care Services
Medical Care and Symptom Management
Physicians and nurses provide ongoing oversight, carefully managing medications and adjusting care plans to keep patients comfortable. Our goal is to minimize pain and distressing symptoms so patients can focus on spending time with the people they love.
Caregiver Training and Respite
Our hands-on training prepares families to confidently care for their loved ones. We also offer respite care, giving caregivers time to rest and recharge, as well as 24/7 on-call nurse support whenever questions or concerns arise.
Grief and Bereavement Care
From admission to ongoing care, Legacy Hospice maintains regular communication with referring physicians and care teams. Our care teams provide updates on patient status, changes in condition, and care plan adjustments. When something changes, you'll hear from us.
Emotional and Spiritual Support
Facing the end of life raises profound questions. Our licensed social workers provide counseling and emotional support for patients and families, while chaplains offer spiritual care that meets each person where they are, regardless of background or belief.
Daily Assistance and Personal Care
When engaging hospice care, many patients can benefit from extra help at home. Our certified nursing assistants (CNAs) assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
